Real Differentiators
Akshadhaa Foundation and Akshadhaa Academy are what set us apart
What Set Us Apart
Akshadhaa Foundation
Offers programmes to address the education, training and engagement needs for individuals with neuro-developmental challenges.
Akshadhaa Academy
Has been conceived as the knowledge and engagement hub within the larger framework of Assisted Living.
Our Journey with Akshadhaa Foundation
As parents of a child with neurodevelopmental challenges, we faced many obstacles in accessing essential services and interventions. Initially, we traveled extensively across Bengaluru to meet specialists, as most schools lacked focused programs for special needs individuals.
Determined to create a better solution, Sumana, an educator, pursued relevant qualifications and, along with other dedicated parents, founded Akshadhaa Foundation in 2012.
Since then, Akshadhaa has provided education and vocational training to over 1,000 individuals. Our programs include:
- Elementary and Middle School Programmes
- Early Intervention and Life Skill Training
- Therapeutic Services and Teacher Training
- Vocational Training
Using technology to enhance communication and transparency, we work with corporates and social organizations to promote inclusivity for people with neurodevelopmental challenges through regular outreach programs.
